This bike map provides both recreational and commuter cyclists a unique view of cycling routes in Howard County.  More than 300 miles of bicycling routes have been mapped in Howard County.  Routes have been specially chosen in consultation with members of several cycling clubs in central Maryland.  The color-coded routes allow cyclists to preview the topography that they will encounter along their route and allow them to plan routes based on length and slope difficulty.  Slope classification has been divided into four categories based on percentage grade.
